What's the cause of my Electrolux ER7831l fridge/freezer ?

What could be causing/how do you fix my Electolux ER7831l fridge/freezer, the fridge part is not cooling but the freezer which is at the bottom is working fine. I can hear the motor starting and stoping to.

defrost for 24hrs. leaving both fridge and freezer doors open.restart and see if the fridge cools.if it does you could be looking at a faulty auto defrost which will need further investigation and is a bit involved as a diy project
