I pulled apart the front panel to fix the water intake solenoids. When I put the panel back on it did some weird things on startup but eventually all the right lights came on but it will not start the cycle. I shorted out the lid open switch and out of balance switch as well (pull clip off at the board and put a loop of wire across terminals).

I'm stumped!!!

P.S. the machine was working fine aaprt from buggered cold water inlet solenoid before

Me too. Exactly the same issue. I know that hitting 'power' and 'temp down' brings up error codes but what do they mean? Anyone have a manual?

The inlet solenoid valves are 12volt DC.

Did you possible fit a solenoid vave with 110volt coil ?

If so, pull the coil off the old valve and fit to the new.
