baxi bermuda flames ?

we have a baxi bermuda PW3 boiler (1970's)that heats a 3 bed semi ...after a change in smell (gassy /pollution smell)
we removed front lower panel to discover flames licking out towards the front & Sides & the glass veiwing panel has become blackened.... When we switch on,the flames are blue, but after a few minutes the flames go yellow.. WE HAVE NOW TURNED THE WHOLE SYSTEM OFF.PLEASE DIAGNOSE Thanks

The back boiler is sooted up and is extremely dangerous. The flueways will be carbonned up and a complete stripdown will be needed.Do not attempt to use it as the flames could burn thro the wiring that feeds power to the boiler causing even more damage.Get someone out asap.Transco will only make safe,so ring someone Corgi Regd as quick as you can before the snow comes.
