Bernina 801?

Just bought it but am having problems with it not stitching as the top and bottom threads pick up after two to three turns but when starting to sew they will not loop together to form stitches.

Hello Lucy,
Unless you have the needle in the wrong way round or the needle is bent or blunt, or you are not sewing on static material, then the chances are your machine needs retiming, if it is new it should be repaired under warranty.
