My UPVC door frame has split at the botton were you catch your foot as you walk in. I would really like some help on how to fix it.

A few things can be done to repair the threshold on the frame, but I need to Know the make and manafacturer of the plastic only then can I advise you correctly..

if you can send me more info on the make of plastic and a pic of the damaged frame I will try to advise you on how to repair it as cost evectivly as possible...

this is the threshold and is part of the whole casing.
apart from maybe gluing and securing a thin metal plate in the recess across either side of the split there is not much you can do.
you can buy a small gap filler for upvc which acts as an adhesive and also lengths of arc (plastic strips) which come in various widths, 25,45,65,70,95mm etc. which can be stuck on to hide any unsightly cracks these come in 5mtr lengths.
