central locking, ford galaxy 2.3 petrol w reg?

my fob started playing up openning and closing the doors, the fob stopped working altogether, change batteries in fob , still no joy. red light not coming on in car door. tried undoing battery for a few mins still no joy ,any idea,s

Try a full reboot...Disconnect the car battery for 10 minutes (or the fuse to the central locking)..Replace ..then it should work.

That`s what the garage does...and charge you £85 plus VAT !
