When i turn the boiler on its run for a couple of minutes and then cuts out. The overheat switch pops. When i press this back in the boiler wont start again until its cooled down and then the same again. Is this likely to be the thermostat in the boiler?

Its cutting out for a reason Doug.Is the pump running and are the header tanks full of water.
