How to fill gap in UPVC door?

I have a blue coloured UPVC front door. The trim round the glass has a join in it. Where the door has got hot and cold the joint has come apart. I need to fill this gap but it needs to match the blue door. I have tried filling with a filler and painting blue but it looks messy. Any ideas?
