I have a simba alarm system fitted to my mx5

I have turned it on by key under the bonnet and the red light comes on inside the car when it arms.the light comes on when i press the key fob,but if I activate the alarm by opening a door it wont stop using the fob,until I turn it off using the key.
Anyone got any answers please. Thanks.
