dewalt drill, not working?

i av a 24v cordless dewalt drill,i no tht the battery n charger are in working order, but when go to use it i hear a squeeling but quiet noise??

check to make sure the speed selector on the top is fully over , not inbetween speeds , if you have a problem in all 3 speeds it's time to take it in for repair
