which button do u press to begin the coding process ie to get the 4 blank spaces to enter the code. my radio is displaying safe

2.Hold button AS then turn on radio but keep AS pressed until you hear beep
3.Now displaying 10 ----
4.Display code using presets 1-4,hold AS button to enter
