mp3 player frozen samsung YP-T8Z?

How can I get this thing to work again ???? its just stuck on one screen ive tryed pluging it into my computer and charger for it nothing changes. Should I just wait for the battery to die ? or will that kill it becasue its a lithium battery ?

This has happened to me twice now, letting the battery die worked the first time, still waiting fot it to "die" this time so I can restart. I have had this for several years and other than this small glitch, it has served me well. good luck!

Ya, that happened to my Yepp once. I let the battery die. The I was able to restart it. After recharging it, I found out that a certain file (one of my songs) was the cause for it's sudden freeze up.

BTW I did not drop it it did this on its own wile trying to switch to a different song. it does not have the latest software on it either i just got it for christmas and i sa the updated firmware but did not install it on the device.
