How to repair dog ears on whirlpool washing machine?

The dog ears are falling out when we try to replace them.

Are your replacement dog/dawg ears identical to originals?

[if yes] Best way to put that agitator cam (that's the part you put the dawg/dog ears into) back in is to remove that center bolt and take the entire agitator (big white column) out. This will allow you to tip agitator upside-down, slide agitator cam (with new dog/dawg ears and black agitator cam sleeve) into agitator, then flip back right-side up w/out dog/dawg ears falling out. Get it?
