how to repair a damaged table top that melted the finish approx 8"?
I believe someone spilled nail polish remover on my dining room table. It is a cherry finish, solid wood. The finish has melted through the protective top glaze down to the stained wood. How can it be repaired? The melted finish is very tacky.
