I have a zanussi turbodry 1050 and have cleared the filter before; but I have forgotten how to get the round cap off to get to the filter. I think it should twist but I am unsure and am worried I will break it. Can anyone tell me does It twist off and If so is it clockwise or anti clockwise??? Or does It miraculously come off some other way. Just I have got some water still in the bottom of the drum and I presume that this is what is causing It.

you have to turn the round cap anti clockwise.
Don't worry their will no water run out of the machine.
