Connecting a new ceiling rose pendant?

I'm replacing a ceiling rose pendant but one of the neutral cables in the ceiling is too short to reach the connector in the new pendant. Any suggestions?

only answer if you cannot get at it from above is to make a bigger hole but smaller than new light fitting and put a connector on it
