I disassembed the frozen motor to clean out debris and reassembled. The motor is still frozen, I repeated process, the motor would turn under load but it got super hot. It seems that when I replace the hosing over the armature it's too tight.

What's wrong with this picture and how can I resolve it?

The motor assembly needs replacing..Buy a new motor and put it in the fan.....
the new fans are much more flimsy and weak....
