I have had two Emailer phones, and my best address book is in it. However I can no longer use the keyboard to add or amend addresses. I am reluctant to take it apart but cannot see any way of getting to the wires which go inside the phone. Any ideas?
Many thanks

got similar problem/ EM2001-UK. not moaning about the charges but it has just shut down and will do nothing. Got voltage and line out. Great for phone list and dial out so need to recover data. I have the Pocket docket but that only shows minimum of info. Amstrad site no use as it will not allow Email contact as well as no phoneline support. I would have thought that whilst the Trade name exists that there should be some libality for support and or info regards a repair source or service.

Amstrad emailer 1000 UK. (First edition and has worked well for years). I have encountered the same problem now and have lost my connection with Amstrad as it looks. Screen is green blank and makes a hissing sound. I have switched power off and on and removed smart media card too. This has happened only bec I went and opened at the back to fix the handset cord slot which got fixed. Did you fix it? I love this machine and want it fixed. Please help with answers. Thanks.
