MISTRAL PLUS HOTPOINT FRIDGE/FREEZER 1997?

Delmer is worked fine then got up yesterday and temperature had risen dramatically in both units and thermometer warning was flashing on & off as if doors had been left open but they hadn't. tried pressing fast freeze & temp goes down very slowly but wont stay down HELP PLEASE!!!!
