lift top panel model A612 Maytag?

How can I lift top panel off of machine so I can clean mildew that is under it ?

Hello,

I believe you remove the two screws on the front panel near the bottom and tilt the panel up to release. Than the 2 bolts inside the cabinet to raise the top. Hope this helps.
