When I turn on my camera with a tape in, I often get a coded message, "C:31:40" with a sign that I need to eject the tape. This is usually resolved (eventually) by opening the cassette slot, removing the tape and blowing on the tape heads etc... I have tried running a cleaning cassette through the camera a few times but has made no difference. I also use good quality Sony tapes and can see no reason why this should occur.

its has something 2 do with the parts inside where the tape goes, mine did the same i fixed mine by checking the the 2 things that makes the tape play and one was sticking i had 2 pull the one that was sticking out a little (not 2 much) and try 2 spin it
