Removing sensor from system Optima XM?

I have had trouble with garage sensor alarming while we are away (probably a spider)
I dont need this sensor anyway and plan to wire the sensor in to a roomin the house with valuable equipment .
I have disconnected the sensor connected into a connector strip . The tamper pair I have twisted together .
The alarm sounds when activated so I have gone through the omit sensor programme but this zone (3) still alarms constantly . Any suggestions untill I rewire to new position?

Thanks but I did scan every previous question before sending mine .Have connected it direct into alarm panel and is OK but another zone has alarmed since. Iis there a way to test for faults or shall I just give the sensors a clean ?

Paul, i put my number on here all the time, to help people. I so wish people would read other posts, it would help you so much. Your problem is so easy to resolve, you have twisted the tamper pair together, so why havent you done the same on the alarm pair, or the n/c pair as its known. Do Not twist the 12dc supply pair together whatever you do.
