the boiler is heating up but no steam, can it be fixed?

i bought a polti vapporetto 2300 and the boiler heats the water up but it does not emit any steam. Iv tried all the various rinsing out cooling down etc, but it still wont work. How can i fix it? or is there anyone in the Rotherham, South Yorks area that will be able to fix it for me- may i add, without the heavy price tag!! Many thanks. The Model is the 2300 vapporetto, model number VT2300 PTEU0149 and it is the blue rounded version bit like the look of a vax machine!

My 2300 did the same. I fiddled around with the hose connection, then the switches and it worked after that. I think either something didn't connect properly or there might have been a little limescale blocking it somewhere. Thankfully, my Polti's working fine now.

Not much of an answer - I have the same trouble with the 2400 model (red) and can't access the heating element to check if this is the problem as it's so inaccesible. Have tried various suppliers, but no one seems to supply this heating element, though many other Polti parts are on offer. And finally, the main seller I bought it from has ceased selling Polti products.
