I moved this player recently and now it no longer opens/ejects the cds/dvds. It sounds like the mechanism is trying to open but to not avail!

I had the same problem
I took the cover off, checked the small belt and that was ok, I then manually opened the disc tray #1 several times, the unit closed the tray.
After several manual openings the unit began to work on its own.
Im unsure it the tray was wedged or off track.
