how can i get taped film onto my pc jvc gr-dvx 707ek?

The usb port dose not recognise the camcorder , I carnet get my software (Pixar) to capture it either?

I assume you have got a phono to USB capture device connected from your camera to your PC. Install the software which came with the capture device and you should have no problem downloading your video to your PC, then edit and transfer your video clips to a DVD. This works OK with my JVC-AX800, anyway.
