fix condensation oper. paused on jvc camcorder?

I have a JVC GR-D22U camcorder that has a condensation operation paused on screen.. Can this be fixed ?

Open as many panels/flaps on the camera as you can, remove cassette, remove battery and then leave the camera in a warm place for a couple of days to allow it to vent and dry out.
This should fix the problem.
