How can I fix my simpson encore 605 6.0kg heavy duty washing machine?

Their is power to the washing machine,however when you press the start button, all the load lights flash in sequence and it beeps 3 times. The cycle does not commence, what could be the problem?

It goes through all the cycles then on the last spin cycle it empty a the water and doesn't spin just starts beeping & flashing on the permanent press light?

Lid switch is not making contact so it thinks lid is open. Put your hand through the gap between the top deck & top cover of drum on the right hand side at rear. Feel around and you will find an adjustment screw. Turn it clockwise about 2 - 3 full turns.
