How do I repair rotted timber Velux windows?

I have Velux windows where the timber has rotted (for the partial depth) due to condensation at the junction with the glass.

How can I repair this?

but dont forget to rub it down with a fine grade sandpaper and apply a couple of coats of clear varnish otherwise it really will rot away.

hi there to put it blunt no you cant but is it rotten or just gone black because if its just gone black get some bi carb soda and wire wool it will come up a treat. try some bleach to lighten wood if need be too. www.adlux.co.uk
