I am getting an error code AL03 on my dishwasher and cannot find a description of it anywhere. Water does not drain very well leaving me with puddles at the bottom of the dishwasher.

I've got one too, and periodically get an AL03 error. As far as I can see it means that it isn't pumping all the water out.

Assuming that you have done the obvious and cleared all that rice out of the filter in the bottom of the machine I would try running the dishwasher a couple of times on the hottest cycle with no pots in, or running it with one of those cleaning bottles in. This has always cleared this error for me in the past.
