Is my 9 yr old carver motor mover needing replaced?

My mover was working fine ,and for no reason it just stoped, thankfully I was on my drive when it gave up,I tried several times to reset it but nothing happened,in the end I left it until the next day,and this time it reset first time, why did it stop?and is it about time I replaced it?I have not been out with the caravan since, in case it happens when I am away,I am a woman driver and cant reverse the van.

Thanks Bob for your advice.
The main battery was new 1 year ago,I have tested it and it is fine, the mover was shifted onto another caravan 2 yrs ago, I was told then I needed new rollers, they are the gtitty type, and had worn but I have not had it serviced, probably will have to do this, it might be cheeper in the end .

I would expect a longer period than 9 yrs if only used 3 4 times a year on say 5 site per trip.
Check batteries in remote:
Check battery the mover is powered from
Has it been serviced in the 9yrs of it's life?
If not the it could be a motor problem.
I'm not brilliant at reversing and I've been drawing trailers on BT (now retired) a pain reversing.
