Derwent Macdee flushing syphon?

How do I remove it to replace diaphram

hi not sure on your make, but we will start from the begining if the cistern is sitting on the back of the toilet first thing turn water off bale out the last couple of pints of water two wing nuts under cistern lift off after dis connection of water pipe big plastic nut remove to lift out syphon be very carefull when fitting new one if there is a slight chip in cistern it wont seal you will have to use a bit of silcon or rtv just be carefull and you wont have to take it appart to many times hope this helps you
