do i need tto remove steering wheel?

i need to place a nez indicator switch on my 01 fiesta does the steering wheel hav too be taken of to place new part in.

no- remove upper steering column cowl may be held in with 2 torx screws.remove phillips screw ,disconnect wiring plugs [x2] lift switch out.if fitting new one-dont forget to swop flasher unit over ,and it helps to put a drop of oil into screw holes before refitting cowl!
