I'd double check your coolant level - this can be an indication that there isn't enough water in there to reach the heater matrix. If so it would be a good idea to check for leaks and keep an eye on the fluid level, otherwise you may find yourself seriously overheating the engine, or having head gasket problems (if you haven't already).
