30 year old vaillant combi boiler, when i turn the hot water tap on it does not heat the water instead it heats the radaitors

30 year old boiler must be the T3W a lovely old lady, a new boiler will never see a 30 year birthday. Get a RGS engineer to look at your diverter valve
