Sewing Machine - Bernina 730?

Cannot seem to remove the old burned out bulb in order to replace it. (Bernina 730) Any clues?

The only way to get them out because they have 'burnt' on is to get a thin pair of pliers, protective glove and mind your eyes, break the bulb, and unscrew the metal part with the pliers, make sure the plug is out of the wall first.
