Citroen Picasso Heater Display?

The heater display on my Citroen Picasso is very very faint to unreadable. How do I solve this, is it a bulb problem or does the unit need replacing?

Take gear gater off. undo both screws. take radio edge caps off,(flat screwdriver). undo both screws. slide rdio out. pull off facier inc air vents at top. undo 4 screws on heater display.
push top back and slide upward. look on back for the 3 bulbs and replace.
