how can i reduce boiler pressure?

how can i reduce the water pressure on a chaffoteaux et maury calydra central heating boiler? Pressure is currently at 3 bar, there is often a release of water from the overflow and there is a continual drip from the overflow

Reduce the pressure by bleeding water from the radiators...but if the system is repressurising, then the filling loop is open or there is a heat exchanger problem.
