i have an acer laptop with windows vista installed. i've had it for near two yrs now and is so slow and full of crap, i need to reset it but i cant remember how i did it last time. i've tried uninstalling individual prgrammes n such but it refuses, comes up error %appdata% or something like that. as u can see i'm not very computer literate so any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Click on Acer empowering technology , backup and restore centre ,follow instructions. If you do not have any back up discs you can also restart comp and while Acer logo is showing, press alt and f10 at the same time and follow onscreen instructions.
