how do i reset my cooper 9448+ home alarm after a tamper alarm i took the control panel lid off whilst decorating and am know unable to set the alarm i have a red tamper led lit i have the instructions but all it says is to call a technician
You need to strech the tamper spring inside the control panel so that it touches the back of the box when you close the lid.....happened to me last week.
You should then be able to reset your alarm

After securing the lid closed with the long screw, enter your normal access code and the system will reset.
