Is it worth fixing my 1986 escort?

I have a leak in my radiator and also a bad head gasket, is this too much of a job to attempt? 1986 ford escort, 1.9, 48,000 original miles

go for it. had mine since new and and started having similar probs. i've just finished rebuilding it, most of the work myself, using mainly recon parts,at a total cost of £525 runs like a dream. just needs a respray to finish. compare that to paying out for another car !!

Proably be worth fixing because there isn`t that much milage on car but if it isn`t head gasket and pooably a cracked head or block it might not be
