How to prevent water leaking into the boot of Mk.4 Fiesta ?
Water accumulates in the cavity behind the locking catch in the boot lid,which then leaks into the boot.The rubber seal around the rim is ok. and the window seal appears to ok.Has anyone any suggestions? 1998 Mk.4 Ford Fiesta.
could be number plate fixings allowing water to enter.

Check the seal around the wiper motor shaft, and the seal around the trim for the key, also there are four grommets at the top of the tailgate for acces to the spoiler (if fitted) mounting bolts
