HELP Can't change our code on Optima XM?

Our Optima XM now needs a SIX digit code to set and SIX digits to turn the alarm off and we are unable to change the code it will let us go as far as reset but then just bleeps once, and we are back were we started.

• Press PROG (All LED’s show)
• Type in the Old Code (DAY & TAMPER lights show)
• Press 8 (Four zone LED’s show)
• Type in the New Code (System bleeps twice)
