how can i fix my fender stratocaster?

when you remove the cover on the back of the guitar there is a black wire that is diconnected from a metal spring. And now the guitar is not working when it is plugged into the amplifirer. how do i fix this wire?

hi the black wire is the main grounding wire for the guitar,the circuit is not being allowed to make current,energy,you have to solder it back there then hopefully it,ll work,if nothing else is wrong.i have an american strat.2009.hss.red chrome.keep vibing,cheers muso.
