How do I find or reset the code in my Kenwood Excelon KVT-614?

I have a Kenwood excelon KVT-614 that I bought on craigslist . The guy I bought it from didnt have a receipt so I have no proof of purchase wich Kenwood requires to send it in to them.Im wondering if theres anyway to find or reset the code myself?
