Unicorn Stairlifts have a repairs page. They list the Brooks Lincoln stairlifts as a stairlift that they repair. Web address is : www.unicornstairlifts.co.uk

hi there , if you think that the relays at fault try tapping it with the handle of a scerwdriver, inside the relay are a set of contacts that stick together. ive done this before on some of the more modern brooks , they normally drive after proving the relay to be at fault. ive got some pcb,s for the earlier models in my garage if your stuck.

Hi, if it is a relay you can get most replacement relays from rs components or try http://www.stairlift-spares.co.uk/brooks_stairlifts.htm

I don't know stairlifts at all but the relays on the control board should be standard types - they would not need to go to the trouble of having "specials" made for them - regular relays to keep production costs down. They may be soldered in or plug in - my guess is soldered, again to save the cost of a plug-in base but you may be lucky. Your challenges are identifying the relay type number and removing the correct one - especially if soldered in.

Relays are usually surprisingly cheap.

Good luck...
