Not sure how it has broken, drivers wing mirror will only move in a certain direction using the lever, the lever rubber has slpit, i have had a look inside but there seems nothing that i can adjust, The mirror will only move upwards and to the outer edge. Any advice welcome. Thanks

sounds like the mirror has a broken cog inside ... not really much point in trying to repair it ... all i can suggest is going to a scrap yard ( your car is extremely common so phone around a few scrap dealers to find one that has the same / similar model of car in there stocks) and picking up a new ( used of course ) one from there ...they will sell you the whole wing mirror assembly ... should not cost you more than £10 and simple enough to refit
