Optima XM sounding outside but no fault on control panel?

My Optima XM house alarm keeps going off intermitently and switches between the full-on alarm noise to a very annoying high pitched squealing noise! The flashing light doesn't seem to go on at all though
There is no indication that anything is wrong on the control panel, but I have tried entering the code and resetting it anyway, but it makes no difference.
We've not had any works going on at the house lately to interfere with the alarm and haven't had any power cuts.

Any idea why it's doing it and how I stop it!

Thank you

wooops you have a optima noooooo !!!! not your fault horrible alarms id turn the power off on your fuse box and if the alarm panel completely dies then you need a battery or check all the fuses the battery one should be near where the mains is wired in now im not actually concerned its this so if the panel stays on when you turn off the power switch your fuse box back on if its still doing this high pitch noise i would check out the speaker and where its pluged in make sure no wires are catching it

let me know if this works
