Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT 6253 Door won't shut?

Door will not click shut. How can I fix it?

door latch broken inside the top control panel.you have to take off the control panel to gain access.sometimes they can go in to the locked position when the door is actually open this has the effect of dishwasher working with the door wide open!
