I recently took my blaupunkt saint troapez 10 cd changer from one car to another. Now I find that after I switch the engine off and then restart the cd starts on track 1 cd 1 wherever it had previously finished. Have tried wswitching off cd player before switching engine off but to no avail! help

is the stereo or cd changer powered up correctly? some cars have the 2 live wires different ways round, one live powers the memory and is contsantly on and one is normal power that switches off with the ignition, if these 2 are the wrong way round the stereo will still work but not store any memory
