I am a 1st time home owner & i am very concerened about maintaing my new house. Our house has tile floor plus carpet. I am thinking to buy Hoover F7425-900 SteamVac Dual V with SpinScrub Hand Tool.
this steam vav's description say that it also cleans tile floor, but i was not able to find any reviews regarding it cleaning tile floors. My question is should i just buy this product or buy hoover floormate spin & scrub as well.
It would save money & space to buy steam vac only. Can you plz suggest what should I do.

Any steaming cleaner is pretty versitile for most jobs in and around the house. The only type of cleaner which i would not recomend is anything which uses a "shampoo" of any kind, because when you clean any surfice with a shampoo you cant extract it all and it leaves a soapy residue on the floor, which in time attracts more dirt to the area. So just get any steam cleaner and before you use do a "spot test" on a small area (under furniture) just to make sure that it wont cause any long term damage.
